Hippie Chick

Ever feel like you were born in the wrong era?  Well, my friend Flipper (aka The Festival Queen) certainly was.  She was born to dance at Woodstock, wear Birkenstocks, and commune with nature.  The only thing missing is the patchouli!

Is this thing on?

I'm sure you've heard the age-old question: If a tree falls in a forest and there's no one around, does it make a sound? Well, I've always thought the same thing about art, whether it be paintings, music, or photography. If there's no one to see the product of your creativity, does it really exist?

So here I am, sharing my art with the world. Although I take very different types of photos: landscape, urban, macro, nature...what I've decided to share here is that beautiful, vivacious, and unique creature - the New Orleans woman. There was a song on the radio when I was growing up that says it best:

"New Orleans ladies, a sassy style that will drive you crazy, and they hold you like the light hugs the wick when the candle's burning"

ENJOY!!
